Melrose star Mike Pedrini is getting one more high school accolade. The running back was named to the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association All-State team, one of only 26 players to be so honored. Pedrini, a two-time Middlesex League MVP, had 28 touchdowns this season. Indivisible MWB will host a Zoom discussion of the book, with March artist Nate Powell as a special guest, on Thursday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. This comes just ahead of the Good Trouble Weekend of Action, which marks the anniversary of Rep. Lewis’s passing, and everyone is encouraged to participate in one of the local events. The Downsize for Diversity program was originally started by the 501(c)(3) organization, the Lincoln METCO Coordinating Committee, in Lincoln, MA, and raised $170,000 from 2017 to 2022. This was invested in a policy-driven endowment fund and has earned over $50,000 in investment income.
Since moving to the Boston Bridges Initiative in 2023 Downsize for Diversity has netted over $137,000 in art sales.
