Melrose Girls' Hoops Enters Quarterfinal Showdown with Arlington Catholic
The Lady Raiders have advanced to the quarterfinals of the North Division 2 tournament.

MELROSE, MA—The Melrose High School Red Raiders Girls' Basketball Team is coming off a nail-biting upset victory over Tewksbury, and now challenges Arlington Catholic in the quarterfinals of the MIAA Girls North Division 2 Basketball Tournament.
The Lady Raiders took a 46-41 victory over No. 6 Tewksbury, and now will challenge the No. 3 Arlington Catholic Cougars in the quarterfinals of the tournament. A win puts the Lady Raiders in the semifinals against the winner of the Newburyport and Belmont game.
The Lady Raiders entered the tournament with an 11-9 record and as the No. 11 seed in the tournament. They will square off against the Cougars at 2 p.m. at Woburn.
