MELROSE, MA — Tuesday is a Snow Day for pretty much all of Melrose. Schools, City Hall, the Library, and the Milano Center will all be closed the mayor announced Monday in advance of a massive storm.
The DPW have about 80 pieces of equipment ready to serve Melrose during a storm in which we may get 12-20 inches. You can contact the DPW Operations Center after 6 a.m. at 781-665-0142 with any storm-related issues or questions.
Here is a list of Melrose students you can hire to shovel for you.

- There will be an on-street parking ban starting at 11 p.m. on Monday and continuing throughout the day on Tuesday. - Please be courteous to your neighbors and fellow citizens and clear your sidewalks as soon as possible.
- Please do not shovel or plow snow into the street.
- We advise all residents to stay off the roads if possible Tuesday morning, both for your own safety and so we can clear the streets as efficiently as possible.
