Melrose Memorial Day Celebrations: Here's What to Know

Here's what you need to know heading into the memorial day celebrations in Melrose.

MELROSE, MA—The Memorial Day Celebrations in Melrose are fast approaching. Here's what you need to know, according to a release from the City of Melrose.

PARADE

The Melrose Memorial Day Parade will be held on May 29, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Floats and antique cars will assemble in front of Memorial Hall at 12:30 p.m., and all other participants will assemble at 1 p.m. The parade travels down Main St. to the Wyoming Cemetery on Sylvan St.

The parade this year will honor women veterans, and all women veterans are invited to ride or march as a part of the Grand Marshal's section.

Groups or individuals who wish to participate in the parade should call the Veterans Services Office, 781-979-4186, or e-mail Veterans Services Officer Alicia Reddin at areddin@cityofmelrose.org.
