You sure know what you want, Melrose. We asked you on Facebook Wednesday afternoon what businesses you'd like to see come into town. As of about midnight, about 20 of you responded.
The most "liked" response suggested a few fun ideas, including a bookstore, a craft beer spot, or a farm-to-table restaurant. Of course, it might have been the pub idea that garnered all the likes.
In fact, pubs and restaurants seemed to be among the most popular responses. Most of the answers had to do with eating or drinking something.

One reader said the city needs more department stores and variety in what you can purchase around town.
