MELROSE, MA — The Papa Gino's on Main Street in Melrose has closed for good. The pizza company announced the closure of seven Papa Gino's - six in Massachusetts and one in New Hampshire - in a Facebook post from CEO Bill Van Epps Sunday evening.

Papa Gino's said the "very tough decisions" were made with the intention of "rebuilding and revitalizing Papa Gino’s to be better and stronger than ever."

No further closings are anticipated, Papa Gino's said. The affected locations are two in Framingham and one apiece in Brockton, Natick, Wilbraham and Seabrook, N.H.
