Melrose Police Log: 2 Arrested Last Week

The two arrests last week took place eight hours apart in separate incidents.

MELROSE, MA — The following are excerpts from last week's Melrose Police log. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Tuesday, Jan. 22

4:25 p.m. - A 58-year-old Melrose woman was issued a summons on charges of defrauding a restaurant after a disturbance was reported involving a customer at Bobby C's.

Thursday, Jan. 24

4:14 p.m. - A motor vehicle stop at Berwick and Grove resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old on charges of receiving stolen property over $1,200 and unlicensed operation operation of a motor vehicle.

11:36 p.m. - A disturbance was reported between family members at Wheeler Ave. A 51-year-old Melrose woman was arrested and charged with assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Friday, Jan. 25

11:09 a.m. - A 32-year-old Dorchester man was issued a summons on a charge of intimidation of witness/juror/police/court official.

Sunday, Jan. 27

2:10 p.m. - Hospital security was asking for help with person in a vehicle. Police issued a 29-year-old Medford man a summons on a charge of breaking and entering into a boat/vehicle for misdemeanor.
