Melrose Police Log: Car Stuck On Tracks

MELROSE, MA — The following are excerpts from last week's Melrose Police log:

Monday, Oct. 1

8:03 a.m. - Vehicle on Wheeler Ave was entered overnight and $10 was stolen.

Wednesday, Oct. 3

5:34 p.m. - Complaint of two men spoking pot in a car the Cedar Park Depot.

Thursday, Oct. 4

4:20 p.m. - A female was reported to have been trying to break into an Adams St. home with bolt cutters.

Saturday, Oct. 6

12:56 p.m. - A crash at Stone and Pleasant resulted in a 19-year-old Lynn man being issued a summons on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

4:17 p.m. - Police responded to Shaws for a restraining order violation. A 60-year-old Danvers man was issued a summons on charges of violating an abuse prevention order.

Sunday, Oct. 7

8:25 p.m. - A car was stuck on the train tracks on Franklin. It was removed from the tracks.

9 p.m. - An out-of-town resident reported that his neighbor called and told him his garage door was open on Norman Road. Upon checking the property, the neighbor was informed there was a wet pair of jeans in the garage and a wet pair of sneakers in the backyard.

Monday, Oct. 8

12:41 a.m. - A traffic stop on Grove Street resulted in a summons for a 17-year-old on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.
