MELROSE, MA — The Melrose Police log offers a peek into some of the (allegedly) crime-y parts of the city. It's important to remember that an arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 25

12:47 pm. — A report of a disturbance with a neighbor on Franklin Street was reported. Philip Limbo was summonsed on assault and battery.
Tuesday, Dec. 26

3:05 a.m. — Someone says his car was stolen from while at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
4:24 a.m. — Report of a dog left outside on Bellevue Ave. The dog was taken inside.
10:25 a.m. — Caller on West Emerson says electric wires are hanging about 8 feet over her driveway and the pole is leaning more and more each day. National Grid responded.
10:55. a.m. — A report of previous assault at D&R Paving.
12:03 p.m. — A report of fraud at Santander Bank.
8:34 p.m. — A report of motor vehicle damage from an open manhole on Franklin at Woodland. DPW responded.
Wednesday, Dec. 27
2:17 a.m. — A caller on Leonard Rd. said his friend was threatening him and his cats. The caller wanted his friend removed from the home. The parties were separated and order restored.
11:18 a.m. — Caller got scam call from "grandchild."
11:53 a.m. — Caller concerned about homeless person sleeping on bench at Wyoming Depot. Person was transported to shelter.
6:32 p.m. — A caller reported a motor vehicle problem at CVS involving an abandoned car involved in a hit and run. Everett Police made arrests. Thiago DaSilva, 38, was summonses on reporting a false crime and a false statement in application for motor vehicle title. Samuel Cecilo-Lima, 38, was summonsed on charges of leaving scene of property damage and assault and batter with a dangerous weapon.
Sunday, Dec. 31
3:55 p.m. — Money taken from gym bag at Melrose YMCA
11:18 p.m. — Report of drunk man stumbling in front of Hunt Photo.
