Melrose Police Logs: Be Kinder To The Shaw's People, Please

MELROSE, MA — The following are excerpts from the Melrose Police log from May 21 - 27. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Monday, May 21

11:30 a.m. - Caller from Maple Street says neighbors have trespassed on her property and another neighbor's property.

1:50 p.m. - Female says her dog was bit by another at dog park.

2:13 p.m. - Mother/daughter fight outside doctor's office.

Tuesday, May 22

2:30 p.m. - Caller reports a car hit multiple shopping carriages that an employee at Shaws was pushing through the parking lot and drove off.

3:24 p.m. - Caller reports being hit by a Whole Foods truck in the parking lot.

5:44 p.m. - A 24-year-old Marshfield man was arrested on a warrant after being pulled over. He is also charged with texting while operating a vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Wednesday, May 23

4:59 p.m. - Older gentleman who caller said seemed "out of it" was playing on the slide with kids.

5:40 p.m. - Caller says suspicious kids were rolling cigarettes on Main.

Thursday, May 24

12:18 p.m. - A 45-year-old Melrose man was issued a summons on charges of stop sign violation, license not in possession, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Saturday, May 26

11:51 p.m. - Caller on Faxon says 6-8 teens threw rocks at his house and neighbor's car.
