Melrose Police Order Razors To Stand Down!
No-Shave November is in full effect in Melrose.

MELROSE, MA — While we here at Patch have been rocking a dubious mustache since Halloween, the Melrose Police Department are going full no-shave November on us. Officers who donate at least $100 to charity can tell their razor to stand down for the month, growing out those manly man-beards.
When November is up, the No-Shave Committee (which is members, presumably furry ones, of the Melrose Police Department) will select where to give the money.
"No-Shave November is a great opportunity for officers to raise awareness for causes that are important to them," Chief Michel Lyle said. "I have no doubt that they’ll identify a worthy and meaningful organization to support through this initiative."

But there's more: The bestly bearded officer at month's end will have an award presented to him. The officers will vote on who deserves the honor.
