Melrose Power Outages Resloved

Power has been restored to more than 2,000 in Medford after an afternoon outage.

National Grid said the outages are believed to have been caused by a disruption to power lines. The power was expected to be back by 5 p.m.

MEMA reported major outages in Melrose surpassing 2,000 customers. National Grid said the outages, which reach into Malden, were more than 5,000. An updated number had it over 2,000.
