Melrose TD Bank Robbery Suspect Sought

MELROSE, MA — Police are asking for help in identifying the man they say robbed the TD Bank on Main Street Saturday afternoon.

Police said the man walked into the bank around noon and demanded money from a teller. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man did not show a weapon.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect, pictured above, is described as a white male between 35-45 years old with average height and build. He had dark hair, a beard, and a mustache. He was wearing a dark coast with a hood pulled up and a baseball cap underneath.

Police used a K-9 to track the man before losing his trail after a short distance. It is believe he left in a vehicle.
