This behavior was non-sexual and non-discriminatory. We take all allegations of misconduct extremely seriously and are fully investigating the incident.

"This is a personnel matter and details surrounding the incident must remain confidential. However, we feel it is important that we notify the community that measures have been put in place at the middle school to ensure the safety of students is maintained at all times. We encourage parents to have open and honest discussions with their students, who may have questions or concerns, and we ask that the community remain patient as we conduct our investigation."
