Melrose Weather: Warmer Weekend Afoot
The National Weather Service is calling for a beautiful weekend, for February.
MELROSE, MA—On the heels of Winter Storm Jonas, Melrose will be making it out of the snowy woods and enter what is currently projected to be a gorgeous weekend, for it being nearly February of course.
According to the National Weather Service’s extended forecast, Temperatures are projected to stay around the 40s on both Saturday and Sunday during the day. Winds are projected to stay under 10 miles per hour.
Night time temperatures will drop, as expected.
Here’s the weekend forecast from the NWS:
- Saturday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 40. West wind around 6 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
- Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Southwest wind around 7 mph.
- Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 48. Southwest wind around 6 mph.
- Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Patchy fog after 9 p.m.
