Monday is A Snow Day in Melrose
No school tomorrow in Melrose. In addition, trash pickup is pushed back a day and public facilities are closed.

The following statement was issued by the City of Melrose:
The Melrose Public Schools will be closed tomorrow because of the impending snowstorm.

As you can see from the graphic above, greater Boston, including Melrose, is in the heart of this storm, which will start late tonight. Please stay off the roads tomorrow. Here’s what you need to know for Monday:
- City Hall will be closed.
- The DPW snow operations center will be open 24 hours; if you have any snow-related problems or questions, please call them at 781-665-0142.
- Trash will be on a holiday schedule, so all routes will be picked up one day later than their usual schedule.
- The Melrose Public Library and the Milano Senior Center will be closed.
