Monica Medeiros has my Support

Fiscal responsibility, transparency and asking the tough questions.

I moved to Melrose a little over 9 years ago and Monica was one of the first people I met. We instantly hit it off and Monica has become a great friend. She is also the person I have supported in every campaign because she stands for the values that I believe are important to me, my family and Melrose.

I have worked closely with Monica on two No Override campaigns and have witnessed her dedication to what she believes to be the best for Melrose. She has a strong work ethic and will do what it takes to get the job done. Best of all she does it with a sense of humor and a smile. She is able to gather support, embrace conflict and come out strong on the issues. She never makes knee jerk decisions, she gathers all the facts, asks questions and makes an informed decision.

I am voting for Monica for Mayor for the reasons above but also because I know she has the experience and leadership to move Melrose forward in the right direction. She will create a strategic financial forecast, so we are never surprised about funding our schools, finding money for roads and funding public safety. Along with her financial forecast, she will create greater transparency especially with the budgets and budgeting process, so you will always know where your money is spent.

Because Monica has spent her entire life in Melrose, she has seen the good and the not so good. She has listened to residents who are neighbors and friends and has tried to make decisions that will help all of us enjoy this beautiful city. I know as Mayor, Monica will continue to make tough decisions in the best interest of all residents.

Please join me and vote Monica for Mayor on September 17!
