MELROSE, MA - Children dancing in the street ... Adults enjoying a beer in the heat ... Clam chowder and waffles galore. Friday night's Summer Stroll was nothing short of delightful.
A few blocks of Main Street were shut down to traffic as hundreds of people walked from stand to stand put out by restaurants and shops. A few places - including Stearns, Mexico Lindo, and Giacomo's - had full-service dining tables outside.
