Pilates, Yoga, and Healthy Spring Cooking Workshops This Week
Join the farm for one of its health-inspired workshops hosted early this week
The spring season is the perfect time of year to start utilizing Wright-Locke Farm's 1827 Barn for a variety of programs and events, including those related to low-impact fitness. Our Monday Evening Pilates and Tuesday Evening Yoga Sessions with local instructors Jennifer Ogonowsky and Brittney Burgess are suitable for all levels of experience and focus on improving strength, flexibility, toning, and endurance. Set to the backdrop of the farm fields, these experienced instructors will guide students as they achieve a balance of power and flexibility through the dynamic combination of breath and movement.
For anyone looking for a fresh and healthy take on spring-inspired cooking, consider joining the farm for its Spring-Inspired Culinary Workshop with local Chef Karina Hines on Wednesday, May 10 from 6:30 - 8:30pm. Chef Karina Hines will teach participants how to create dishes that will awaken your taste buds, boost your metabolism, and reinvigorate your system. Featured recipes will include an assortment of fresh local and seasonal herbs, fruits, and vegetables; nutrient-rich and cleansing spring greens, herbs, and foraged foods will be included.
