Police Log: 4 From Out Of Town Summonsed, Melrose Man Arrested

The arrest took place on Super Bowl Sunday, while two summons were issued Wednesday.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

2:52 p.m. - Caller reported a car crash on Main Street at Porter Street. A 52-year-old Londonderry, NH, man was issued a summons on charges of leaving the scene of property damage.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

12:44 p.m. - A motor vehicle stop on Lebanon Street resulted in a 43-year-old Everett man being issued a summons on charges of failing to stop/yield and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

11:31 p.m. - A caller on Linwood Ave. reported her front door was smashed. A 28-year-old Malden man was issued a summons on charges of malicious destruction of property less than $1,200.

Thursday, Jan. 31

3:05 p.m. - A restraining order violation report on Tappan Street resulted in a summons for a 20-year-old Lynn man on charges of violating an abuse prevention order.

Sunday, Feb. 3

10:48 p.m. - Police responded to Boardman Ave. for after Melrose Fire Department requested a unit. A 31-year-old Melrose man was arrested of charges of domestic assault or assault and battery.
