Monday, June 4

2:23 p.m. - A motor vehicle stop 193 at Tremont and Union resulted in the arrest of Sheng Zhu, 38, of Malden, for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense.

Tuesday, June 5

3:59 a.m. - Report of a car driving slowly without headlights is newspaper delivery person.

8:50 a.m. - Raccoon going through a recycling bin on Herbert Street.

Wednesday, June 6

11:26 a.m. - A 23-year-old Melrose woman was placed in protective custody after a call from the Roosevelt School area.

11:26 a.m. - Complain of a raccoon walking around near railroad tracks.

Thursday, June 7

8:24 a.m. - Sudden death reported in West Wyoming apartment.

12:32 p.m. - Police issued a summons to a 52-year-old Melrose man for violating an abuse prevention order on Berwick.

8:26 a.m. - Report of a family of raccoons scattered all over the road on Warwick due to traffic. One raccoon was helped out of a vehicle's wheel well by police.

5:05 p.m. - Report of elderly man removing flowers from a property around Russell and Cottage.

Saturday, June 9

10:13 p.m. - A woman reported 20 males standing by doorway on West Wyoming, says they may have been brawling and moving furniture. Made her feel uncomfortable.

Monday, June 11

6:20 a.m. - A 35-year-old Wakefield man was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle after a single-car crash.
