Red Hatters for November 2024

This month has been a busy one for many of us., but not with our hats on.....

There have been Doctor appointments; kids and grand kids school functions, and just getting together with families and other friends.

I took my birthday week off and spend time in Maine driving around and enjoying the views of many of the small towns.

On November 12th a few members went to the Melrose Senior Center to see Denise Doucette perform. She is an outstanding singer and actor. This was a new and unique show for her. She did a one person interpretation of the classic play and movie of the Sound of music.

Denise changed hats with each person she portrayed; and her voice is amazing and her acting "right on".

The audience interacted when we were told to sing, applause and wave our hands. A great show, enjoyable, and it was fun for us to be there.

We wish all our readers had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving day, and beyond. There is much to be thankful for as many of us celebrate with family and friends.
