Route 1 Traffic Still Stinks After Trash Truck Flips Over
The morning southbound commute improved marginally but there are still delays after a fully loaded trash truck flipped in Saugus.

SAUGUS, MA — Traffic is still recovering after a fully loaded trash truck flipped over on a Route 1 ramp. The truck was turned upright within the last hour, but the on- and off-ramps to Route 1 at South and Main Street in Saugus — right before the Square One Mall — are still closed.
No injuries were reported.
Police said to expect delays in the area, but traffic was flowing more smoothly at 8 a.m.
