Swastika at Melrose Elementary School

Melrose Police are investigating after a parent found a swastika drawn in the snow at the Horace Mann School on Wednesday, Melrose Public Schools said.

The parent reported the swastika to a teacher, who reported it to the principal. The principal then notified police.

"The City of Melrose and the Melrose Public Schools have zero tolerance for this type of hateful behavior," a statement said. "Melrose takes great pride in being an inclusive community where all people feel welcome and safe."
