The Fallacy of any Comprehensive Immigration Bill!

Speaking at the United States Conference of Mayors on Friday, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said the approximately 11 million people who are in the country illegally have “earned the right to be citizens.” Jeh Johnson was recently confirmed as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) chief in December 2013. He further noted, “Comprehensive immigration reform would also promote a more effective and efficient system for enforcing our immigration laws, and should include an earned path to citizenship for the approximately 11-and-a-half-million undocumented immigrants present in this country, something like 86% of whom have been here almost 10 years.”

We tried this “comprehensive Immigration” thing for about 3-4 million illegal immigrants back in the mid 1980’s under President Reagan, when he took the word of Democrats that border security would be implemented as part of this agreement. Needless to say that never happened and here we are again with Democrats like Jeh Johnson, repeating this same lie only now we are talking about 11 million people (more like 20 million plus when you consider that their families will be brought into the US in years following this decision).

So tell me again how breaking our laws, hiding out, earns anyone citizenship ahead of those that play by the rules? Only in the liberal world of Democrats does this make any sense at all!
