Will Melrose Cancel School Tomorrow? Here's What We Know

MELROSE, MA—Melrose is in for some inclement weather, and while the city hasn't cancelled schools as of now, the city updated residents about the potential weather coming to the area.

Melrose warned residents to allow added time for the morning commute, as the snow will make for a messy commute. The message also added that superintendent Cyndy Taymore has already began deliberations with area superintendents regarding the status of school Sunday.

According to the posting on the Melrose Mayor's Blog, if the superintendent calls a delay, it will result in a two-hour delay. Any decisions regarding the status of the school will be made in the morning.

The posting also asked residents to give themselves plenty of time for drop off and for shoveling.
