Woman In MBTA Bus Head-On Crash Dies
The woman was identified as a 47-year-old Saugus resident.

SAUGUS, MA — The woman whose SUV crashed head-on into an MBTA Sunday has died. Kathleen Callahan, 47, of Saugus, succumbed to her injuries, Transit Police said Monday morning.
Callahan was behind the wheel of a Ford SUV when it clipped a parked car on her right before veering into the opposite lane of traffic. The SUV then immediately struck the Route 429 bus.
All four passengers on the bus suffered minor injuries.

Police said Callahan had been hospitalized with serious injuries.

Police are investigating the crash.
