Woman Throws Coffee At Man Walking Dog: Melrose Police Log

Tuesday, Feb. 5

4:56 p.m. - A person said a motorist showed him a gun near the Franklin School.

11:57 p.m. - The front desk at Townline Inn said a female came into the lobby and said there were people "shooting up" in a room. A summonsed was issued to a 22-year-old Lynn woman on assault and battery charges.

7:19 p.m. - A motor vehicle stop on Howard Street for what police said was speeding resulted in a 21-year-old Lynn woman getting summonsed on charges of speeding and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Thursday, Feb. 7

7:27 a.m. - An 18-year-old Melrose man was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon following an incident at Heywood Ave.

Saturday, Feb. 9

2:12 p.m. - A 55-year-old Melrose woman was arrested on charges of OUI-drugs, leaving scene of property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle after someone called in a two-car crash with no injuries on Lynde Ave.

Sunday, Feb. 10

7:11 a.m. - Police received two calls about a woman throwing coffee at a man walking his dog at Dunkin' Donuts.
