• Obituary: Joanne Van Gelderen Moss, 71 (mysouthborough.com) — Mendon readers may recognize Joanne Moss through her son Brendan, his wife Lauren, and their daughters Mia and Paige, who live in town. Joanne, a longtime Southborough resident with deep ties across MetroWest and Cape Cod, passed away May 8 after a decade-long battle with metastatic breast cancer. Visiting hours are Wednesday in Shrewsbury, with a funeral Mass Thursday in Southborough.
