New Brunch Spot Planned For Milford

MILFORD, MA — A new restaurant focused on breakfast, brunch and lunch is preparing to open on East Main Street.

Nestera Brunch is expected to open at 198 East Main St. in Milford. The eatery has not yet announced an opening date, but shared an update on its social media, writing, "A new era is coming."

The business's managers, Maria Carranza and Brenda Tamez, went before the Select Board on June 1 to request common victualler and wine-and-malt beverage licenses for the restaurant. Both licenses were unanimously approved.

Nestera Brunch would be open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tamez told the board that the restaurant would concentrate on serving breakfast and lunch during its daytime hours.

The East Main Street location was the former home of Bertie's Creative Creamery, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor that closed in February 2025, according to a social media post.

Nestera Brunch is asking customers to follow its social media account for updates. Patch has also reached out to the upcoming business for more information on its opening.
