Thefts From Cars On The Rise In Milford, Police Say

MILFORD, MA — Milford police are urging residents to lock their vehicles following a string of thefts from vehicles in recent weeks.

There has been an increase in reported thefts from vehicles in Milford over the past two weeks, police announced Monday. The incidents have mostly occurred overnight, police said.

Milford police have not yet confirmed where the thefts have occurred.

Police are asking residents to secure their belongings and lock their vehicles. Anyone who sees suspicious activity should call the Milford Police Department at (508) 473-1113 or dial 911.

"While the thefts are generally isolated to the overnight hours, we urge everyone to always secure your belongings and lock your vehicles," police wrote in the announcement. "Thank you for your help in keeping our community safe."
