Both Officer, Suspect Injured During Milford Arrest

The man sought a police escort, when police were informed of a warrant out for his arrest.

MILFORD, MA — A police officer and a suspect were both injured during an arrest in Milford on Monday, according to police.

Domingo Mejia asked for a police escort to get his belongings from his former home because of a restraining order. But while on the way to meet Meija, officers were informed that Meija had an active probation violation warrant for domestic assault and battery and destruction of property, according to police.

When officers arrived and informed Meija of the warrant, he became combative, according to police, who said he punched the officers. Police said officers used tasers to control the situation, and Meija fell and hit his head.
