Bulger 'Hitman' John Martorano Begins Testimony

John Martorano, who served 12 years in prison for murder after reaching a deal with federal prosecutors, began his testimony Monday in the trial of James 'Whitey' Bulger.

The ex-hitman who reportedly killed 20 people, before turning on reputed mobster James 'Whitey' Bulger, began his testimony Monday at U.S. District Court in Boston, according to a report on Boston.com.

John Martorano lived in Milford following his release from federal prison, where he served 12 years after confessing to 20 murders. The report in the Globe, however, says he is now living in Cambridge, on Social Security earnings.

The trial of Bulger is expected to continue for several months.
