Carnivore's, Cornerstones, Hunan, J.R.'s: Milford's Health Inspections
Smoker area dirty, pies need to be covered, plugged drain. Here are the latest health inspections conducted in Milford.

MILFORD, MA—The following inspections were submitted by the Milford Board of Health:
- Dunkin Donuts 31 Main St. 11-4-16 Violations here include the following. Walk in freezer has open box of food product with some food product not covered, clean the inside steel edge of the ice machine, one food rack of pastry not covered should have at least a 3 sided sleeve, long plastic customer spoons for ice cream need to be stored with handles facing the user, and have to move equipment tables etc in order to clean floor completely.
- Double Tree 11 Beaver St. 11-3-16 Violations here include the following. Need to clean the floor area by the pantry reach in cooler down behind the stainless steel table with the mounted in hand sink, in the R1 cooler there is some sort of mold or mildew build up at the top of the wall where it meets the ceiling including the cooling unit, cheese sticks in the Desani cooler need to be covered (internal temp. good), crab cake mixture in R4 four door cooler not covered, and floor in the dry goods storage room needs to be cleaned under the food storage racks.
- D’Angelo’s 195 E. Main St. 11-2-16 Violations here were the need to clean and scrub the flat top grill, and clean the floor to the wall under the flat top grill.
- Domino’s 2 Cape Rd. 11-2-16 Need to find or install a thermometer inside the three door prep cooler. This is the only violation.
- Carnivore’s 134 S. Main 11-2-16 Violations here included the following. Clean interior of the convection oven needs to be scrubbed, clean the floor in and around equipment to include edges corners etc., entire smoker area the unit itself and all of the surrounding area, chest freezer needs a visible thermometer, label food containers/bins with the food product they contain, and need a visible thermometer inside the Traulsen 2 door cooler..
- Cornerstones 11 Birch St. 11-2-16 Violations here include the following. Clean interiors of both stainless steel utility draws in the prep room, clean sanitize manual can opener, plated pies need to be covered in the walk in cooler, stove top needs to be cleaned, and clean base of ice cream freezer due to multiple ice cream spills.
- Holiday Inn Express 30 Fortune Blvd. 11-10-16 There are no violations here.
- Dunkin Donuts 146 S Main St. 11-9-16 Violations here include the following. Need a thermometer in the walk in cooler, box of food product cannot be stored on the floor in this same cooler, clean base of Baxter oven, and drip pans under coffee service needs cleaning including white shelving.
- Dunkin Donuts 350 E. Main St. 11-9-16 Violations here include the following. Two trays of food product need to need covered in the walk in cooler, and need to move main line equipment around in order to clean these areas more effectively.
- Depot St. Tavern 11-8-16 45 Depot St. Violations here include the following. Clean the interior top of the microwave oven, two foods not covered in the Turbo Air cooler and one food not covered in the Turbo Air freezer, hand sink and dish machine area need attention (cleaning), clean exteriors of both fryers, and need to refinish or replace cutting surfaces for two prep coolers, and steel shelf under the flat top grill needs to be cleaned.
- Fairfield Inn & Suites 1 Fortune Blvd. 11-8-16 There are no violations here.
- Dairy Queen 190 West St. 11-7-16 In the walk in cooler cover two ice cream cakes, and clean base of one prep cooler.
- Garden Pizza 92 Prospect St. 11-14-16 Violations here include the following. Label white container of flour, and employee aprons cannot be in contact with utensils or equipment must be stored in a separate area.
- Hunan Gourmet 130 Main St. 11-14-16 Violations here include the following. Clean food racks in the basement walk in cooler, two foods not covered in the Frigidaire refrigerator, cover foods in the Coke cooler, clean floor under the wok stations, and clean gasket seals on the two door prep cooler.
- Honey Dew Donuts 140 S. Main St. 11-14-16 Do not store ice scoop in with the ice to prevent bare hand contact with a food product (ice)
- Honey Dew Donuts 118 Prospect St. 11-14-16 Label white roll out containers/bin with the food product they contain, and clean small vent area under one microwave oven.
- Garden Restaurant 156 West St. 11-15-16 No violations here.
- J.R.’s Diner 296 Main St. 11-15-16 Violations here include the following. Drain for prep sink is plugged and does not drain this requires an immediate repair re-inspection scheduled for same day, boxes of food product cannot be stored on the floor in the walk in freezer, clean interior of the oven (base) due to burnt on food debris and be sure all plastic utensils (spoons and knives) are stored so that handles are presented to the user. Re-inspected hours later (same day) and found drain cleared. Also two other violations corrected.
