When Horan asked if Timpany has sought financial assistance with cleaning his home. Senior paralegal Dianne Sandman said he’s received some small grants from the Veteran’s Association but nothing that could cover the cost of the roof repair.

Milford Town Counsel Gerald Moody said that Timpany has stated that the stacks of items in his house are for research, but he has not discussed any such research in court. Moody added that the town has been dealing with the property since 1980.
