MILFORD, MA — Should the Milford spring election still be held in light of the new coronavirus outbreak? The Milford Board of Selectmen will discuss the issue at the meeting scheduled for Monday night.

On Monday, the state Legislature passed — and Gov. Charlie Baker signed — a new law allowing towns to push back spring elections due to the coronavirus outbreak. Nearby towns like Wayland, Sudbury, and Natick have all elected to postpone.

Milford has already closed a number of facilities, including Town Hall and all parks and related facilities. The spring Town Meeting set for May 18 was still on track as of March 25, although other local towns have postponed.
