Driver Unsure Why She Was on I-495 Before Passenger's Death

A woman charged with drunken driving in Milford couldn’t recall why she was in Massachusetts when she was questioned by police
Kimberly Prescott, 25, of Bristol, Conn, is charged with operating under the influence of liquor. She was arraigned in Milford District Court Wednesday.
Early Wednesday morning, police say she was driving a car down 495 South when Benjamin Macaskill, 29, also of Bristol, left the vehicle and began walking in the middle travel lane of the highway. Near exit 20, Macaskill was hit by a tractor-trailer truck and later died from injuries sustained in the accident.

Prescott told police they were with friends in Rhode Island, but could not recall why they came to Massachusetts according to WHDH.
Prescott was arrested after she failed a field sobriety test.
