A Duck's Lucky Day: Rescuers Save Little Fellah From A Drain In Milford

MILFORD, MA—A little duckling had a lucky day when he got himself into some trouble this week.

Dave Lucciarini, who owns Down to Earth Landscaping, was returning home from a job on Tuesday when he spotted a duck running across the road, and stopped his car to let him cross. The duck made it across the street, but ran straight into a sewer drain.

Calling the Milford Fire Department, they rescued the duck by cutting the metal cover off, putting the duck in a bucket and pulling him to safety.
