The Miracle of Fire on Ice at the Chabad Center

For the tenth year in a row, the Chabad Jewish Center is sponsoring this indoor and outdoor Chanukah party for adults and children on the fifth night of Chanukah

The event will feature the carving of a seven-foot menorah out of a 500 lb. block of ice.

The ice sculpture will be lit around 3:30pm. This event is free and open to the community. Besides the giant menorah lighting, there will be entertainment, games, music, foods such as hot latkes with sour cream and applesauce, Chanukah gelt (chocolate coins), doughnuts, and more. Traditional Chanukah blessings will be recited, and Chanukah songs will be led by the Hebrew School choir.
