While there was tremendous support for small retail business, quite a few chain stores were mentioned. One of the most popular franchise recommendations was a Christmas Tree Shop. The closest Christmas Tree Shops are in Foxborough, Shrewsbury or Natick.
Commenters were also very vocal about bringing Trader Joe's to town. The supermarket is located in surrounding neighborhoods including Framingham and Foxborough.
Restaurants
Much like the retail suggestions, there were plenty of suggestions for locally-owned restaurants. Some of the most popular ideas were restaurants with healthy options like smoothies and acai bowls. Residents also seemed passionate about bringing more cafes and bakeries to town.
Fast food franchises were popular with commenters as well. The two most notable chains mentioned were Boston Market and Chick-fil-A.
