Hit and Run at Collision Biz, Arrest After Parking Disagreement, Census Employee Harassment?: Milford Police

MILFORD, MA -- The following are excerpts from the Milford police log.

Tuesday, Feb. 9

7:28 a.m. - Assault reported. Caller reports there was a party at his house last night. This morning one of the males struck his mother in the nose and ran down Sumner Street and took a side street where there is a yellow house. Described as a male wearing a black hat, blue jacket, tan pants.

8 a.m. - Arrest at Hannaford for larceny

9:09 a.m. - Vandalism reported, 240 Main St.

1:06 p.m. Motorist reports female shoveling snow in roadway on Water Street

2:59 p.m. Minor hit and run at Milford Collision, vehicle that took off was a gold vehicle possible plate of 6hfz30. Minor damage done to vehicle that was struck.

3:11 p.m. - Caller requesting an officer for a census employee that she believes is harassing her, 31 West St.

3:45 p.m. - Car crash at Wendy’s. Jose Tigre, 44, 5 Pine St. Ln., Hopkinton, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation, marked lanes operation

7:47 p.m. - Police responded to a call reporting that a van was blocking a driveway on Bow Street. Virgilio Loja, 35, 56 North Bow St., Apt. 3, Milford, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, unlicensed operation of a MV, malicious damage to a MV
