Johnny Jack's, Mango Tree, Marriott, Padaria Bakery: Milford's Health Inspections

MILFORD, MA—The following inspections were submitted by the Milford Board of Health:

• Johnny Jack’s 220 Main St. 11-16-16 Violations here include the following. Clean stainless steel container that knives are stored in, in the small two door prep cooler take all food products out clean the base and trays and gaskets, clean interior of the microwave oven, and there is a build of coffee beans under the coffee station at the waitress area.
• Milford Marriott 10 Fortune Blvd. 11-18-16 Violations here include the following. Clean shelves where silverware is stored and also clean clear plastic bins that silverware is stored in, clean and disinfect the employee hand sink, clean exterior of the Raetone refrigerator, exterior of the Vulcan oven door is in need of cleaning, and food products in cardboard boxes cannot be stored on the floor in the walk in units.
• McDonald's 143 Medway Rd. 11-18-16 Base of Garland oven needs to be cleaned burnt on food debris, dust build up in the vent above the freezer for chicken nuggets, clean freezer bases for both hamburger units on either side of the main line, and men’s room toilet needs cleaning and disinfecting.
• McDonald's 139 S. Main St. 11-18-16 There are no violations here.
• Marty’s Kitchen 178 S. Main St. 11-18-16 Violations here include the following. Have to clean the open area under the Beverage Air cooler, and clean surface area around the employee hand sink.
• Milford Mandarin 196 E. Main St 11-16-16 Violations here include the following. Protect ice scoop for the ice machine during storage do not leave on top of the machine, clean and sanitize the food slicer and do not store anything on it (this violation corrected during the inspection), clean and disinfect mop sink and surrounding area, two foods not covered in the walk in cooler temps of foods tested in this same cooler all good, one food not covered in the walk in freezer.
• Mango Tree 206 E. Main St 11-15-16 Violations here include the following. Clean the metal shelf that serves as a storage rack for spices, metal strainer had food debris on it and in contact with a soiled baseball cap (strainer was disposed of hat removed), clean interior of the microwave oven, clean prep cooler hinges door guides gaskets etc. and anyone working with food is to wear and effective hair restrain and clean outer clothing. A re-inspection is scheduled. Re-inspected 11-23-16 and found violations corrected.
• Padaria Bakery 173 Main St. 12-1-16 Violations here include the following. Food products in cardboard boxes cannot be stored on the floor in the walk in freezer, need a paper towel dispenser mounted for the basement hand sink, knives are to be clean and sanitized before storage on the magnetic knife strip in the same area, clean the window sill behind the table mounted food mixer, 4 burner stove top needs to be scrubbed, second paper towel dispenser needs to be mounted for hand sink at the customer service area, and critical violation involved hot held foods not being held hot enough in heated display case. This critical violation was corrected the same day (morning ) with and adjustment of the control knob. Time temp was not abused.
• Papa Gino’s 91 Medway Rd. 11-30-16 Food products just received need to be stored properly in the walk in cooler, and critical violation involved lack of adequate hot water at an employee hand sink which requires 24 hour (next day) correction. Re-inspected on 12-1-16 and found violation corrected.
• El Rinconcito Sabor Ecuatorian 94 Main St. 11-30-16 Need to cover one meat product in the walk in cooler, knives are to be clean and sanitized before storage on the magnetic knife strip, clean small burner table mounted stove top, and repair hand sink in this same area as the stove to increase water pressure and hot water temp. this is a critical violation and required immediate correction (next day). Re-inspect on 12-1-16 and found critical violation corrected.
• Whitcomb House 245 West St. 11-30-16 No violations here.
• Milford Hospital 14 Prospect St. 11-30-16 Left side convection oven needs the interior cleaned esp. the base, and one bread product not covered in the middle walk in cooler.
