Juvenile Charged In Milford Smoke Shop Break-In: Police

The juvenile broke into Jay's Smoke Shop around 2 a.m. on New Year's Eve, according to police.

MILFORD, MA — Milford police have arrested and charged a juvenile following a break-in and theft at a town smoke shop on New Year's Eve.

The break-in happened near 2 a.m. on Dec. 31 at Jay's Smoke Shop. The juvenile was caught on surveillance video following the incident, and police circulated images of the crime.

The person was charged with breaking and entering a building at night to commit a felony, larceny under $1,2000 and malicious destruction of property.

Under state law, police do not identify people under 18 who are accused of crimes.
