Man Accused Of Kicking Milford Police Officer
The man claimed the man who he assaulted almost hit him with his car.
MILFORD, MA — A Sturbridge man was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after police said he assaulted a man in front of the Sacred Heart Church and then kicked a Milford police officer while they tried to arrest him.
The man, identified as Pavel Parsons, was arrested on Thursday. Parsons approached a man who was in the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru on Main Street and claimed the man almost hit him with his car, according to the police report.
The man Parsons confronted left the area and went near Sacred Heart Church, he told police he was calling his sister and Parsons followed him over and confronted him again. Parsons hit the man in the face and kicked him the left leg, all while holding two shopping bags filled with empty bottles and silverware, according to the police report.

The man tackled Parsons to the ground, out of fear for his life, he told police.
When Parsons was arrested police said he was extremely uncooperative and actively resistant. While he was being placed in the police cruiser, Parsons kicked one of the officers in the leg.
