Police were able to contact Berrios through undercover officers — he agreed to deliver six bags of heroin to the undercover officers, according to police. The officers set up the exchange in Blackstone and told backup officers about Berrios' exchange and arrival.
When Berrios arrived, one of the officers blocked his car so he couldn't drive away. Before officers were able to get him out of his car and arrest him, Berrios consumed the six bags of heroin/fentanyl.
