Man Dies Following Assault At Milford Apartment Complex: Report

MILFORD, MA — A Medway man has died following an assault in Milford last week, according to multiple reports.

Michael Albro, 54, died after an incident early Friday morning, WCVB reported. The death followed an assault investigation at Birmingham Court, an apartment community near Sumner Street in Milford.

Milford police, along with Massachusetts State Police, responded to a 911 call Friday morning reporting a past assault.

Authorities said one man was taken into custody in connection with the incident, while another individual was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

According to WCVB, neighbors reported hearing screaming from the building overnight, though police were not contacted until hours later.

The suspect’s name has not been released. More information is expected during an arraignment scheduled for Monday.
