On Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Granite and Quarry Rooms of the Milford Town Library, the Friends are pleased to welcome Mark Fraser, Executive Director of the Nature Walks Conservation Society (NatureWalksCS.org), and the Executive Producer and host of Nature Walks with Mark Fraser, which can be seen on Mountain Lake PBS (NatureWalkswithMark.org).
Mark has dedicated his life as a naturalist and passionate wildlife conservation advocate.
For this program we will see amazing wildlife films of local species ranging from the fisher to coywolf (a hybrid of a coyote and an eastern wolf) and black bear.

Mark will review his newest project Eagles Along the Merrimack. After generations of absence the majestic bald eagle has returned to its ancestral home along the Merrimack River. There are confirmed nesting sites in several locations along the river, but despite this wonderful news their future is far from certain. An incredible story, this project is being co-produced with 2 time Emmy Award winning producer Debbie Dorsey, whose amazing work has been seen on Frontline and NOVA.
Finally, Mark will discuss his backyard initiatives to help ensure a healthy world for wildlife and our own families alike.
