The Forecast:

Here’s what to expect according to the National Weather Service:

• Saturday night: Snow. Low around 15. East wind 5 to 9 mph becoming north after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
• Sunday: Snow with areas of blowing snow before noon, then areas of blowing snow and a chance of snow between noon and 2pm, then areas of blowing snow and a slight chance of snow after 2pm. High near 17. Wind chill values as low as -8. Windy, with a north wind 17 to 22 mph increasing to 23 to 28 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
• Sunday Night: Areas of blowing snow. Mostly clear, with a low around -6. Wind chill values as low as -26. Blustery, with a northwest wind 17 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph.

School, Government and Business Closings and Delays:
