Milford Candidates To Speak At Public Forum Ahead Of Annual Town Election
The event will feature the three candidates running in the only contested race for an open seat on the Board of Health.
MILFORD, MA — An upcoming forum will offer residents the chance to meet and learn more about the candidates in Milford's upcoming Annual Town Election.
Nine of the 20 candidates running for elected official positions in Milford will speak at the 12th Candidate Forum, including the three people running in the only contested race for an open seat on the Board of Health. The event is hosted by, hosted by Citizens for Milford in partnership with Milford TV.

The candidates participating in the forum are Rosemary Cerqueira, Diana Haynes, and Scott Vecchiolla, all running for on the Board of Health; Select Board incumbent Thomas J. O’Loughlin; Town Clerk incumbent Amy Hennessy Neves; Town Moderator incumbent Michelangelo Bon Tempo; School Committee incumbents Michael Aghajanian and Brendan Rickert; and Vernon Grove Trustee newcomer M.E. Cissy Hull-Allen. More candidates could be announced here once confirmed.
The free and public event will be moderated by José Costa and Geri Eddins. It will begin with opening statements from each candidate, followed by questions from the moderators. Audience members will also be able to pose their own questions.

“Local elections matter. We urge voters to join us in Town Hall on March 16 to meet the candidates and hear about their goals for Milford and how they would work to improve life in our community," said Citizens for Milford Chair Geri Eddins.
The forum will be held on Monday, Mar. 16, at 7 p.m. in Upper Town Hall, at 52 Main St. Candidates have been invited to meet voters before the event starts at 6:30 p.m.
You can watch the event live on Milford TV (Comcast, Channel 8 or Verizon, Channel 38), on MilfordTV.net, or in the Milford TV app. The event will also be recorded and rebroadcast for later viewing.
The Annual Town Election will take place on April 7. Milford residents will head to the polls to vote on several positions, and 20 people have filed papers for those seats. Plus, four people filed for Town Meeting positions.
The deadline to register to vote ahead of the election is Saturday, Mar. 28, at 5 p.m.
