Milford Homeowner Closer to Keeping Condemned Home
All but one problem has been resolved at 5 Tomaso Rd.

The owner of a condemned home in Milford is one step away from being in the clear after months of court appearances and a threat of evictions.
5 Tomaso Rd. resident David Timpany’s legal battle with the Milford Board of Health can end as long as he can remove the stacks of debris from the inside of his home according to the Milford Daily News. The requirement is the last of six that has yet to be met.
Neighbors and volunteers have helped the aging and disabled veteran clean up the home. So far, he has resorted hot and cold running water, repaired the roof and entryway, and cleared the yard of old cars and junk.

Timpany’s home was condemned in May after emergency responders observed the conditions.
Worcester Housing Court Judge Diana Horan has ordered one more inspection that will end the case if the house is up to code. If not, Timpany returns to court for a hearing on Dec. 10.
